Academy of Sustainability
Formerly known as the BEEAH School of Environment, the Academy of Sustainability is a comprehensive environmental education initiative that has reached over 252,000 students across all age groups, from kindergarten to grade 12, along with 6,500 teachers in more than 700 schools across the UAE.
Our efforts include delivering over 130 unique workshops, presentations, and activities at partner schools, complemented by an interactive website featuring lesson plans, videos, and games, with more than 16,000 active users. The Academy also organizes environmental and recycling competitions, such as The Great Battery Challenge (TGBC), which has been running for over five years in partnership with Duracell.

Future Pioneers Award
Under the patronage of Her Excellency Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, the Future Pioneers Award celebrates breakthrough ideas for sustainable excellence. This global competition is open to:
- School and university students.
- Professionals from various sectors.
- Government bodies, institutions, and corporate organizations.
The FPA recognizes innovations in environmental solutions, providing funding and resources to scale projects with transformative potential. It also promotes award-winning initiatives among other institutions and members of the wider public.

Young Pioneers for Sustainability
The Young Pioneers for Sustainability program is designed to educate and empower high school students in environmental stewardship. By completing four expert-led online courses, young learners build foundational knowledge in key sustainability challenges and concepts:
- Circular Economy
- Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Ecological Footprint
- Climate Change
Upon completion, participants receive an official certification from BEEAH, recognizing them as Young Pioneers for Sustainability. This accolade can serve as a valuable stepping stone to further studies in environmental sciences or a career in future-critical industries.

Institute of Environmental Management and Sustainability (IEMS) – Middle East
The IEMS Academy is a hub for interactive learning, innovation, and skills development, offering internationally accredited qualifications and training programs tailored for the environmental and waste sectors.
Key Achievements:
- Training and certifying over 300 professionals and 2,300 waste management operatives.
- Delivering technical training, conformity assessments, and resources for research and innovation.
