  • Company to showcase technology achievements at one of the most influential technology events of the Middle East, including new headquarters and revolutionary waste management system

Sharjah, UAE, 05 October 2019: BEEAH Group, the Middle East’s pioneer in sustainable quality of life, will be highlighting its technological innovations for smart, sustainable cities at GITEX Technology Week 2019. From 6 –10 October, at Dubai World Trade Center, BEEAH Group will elaborate on technologies related to smart buildings, sustainable transport and advanced waste management solutions. As one of the most digitally enabled companies in the region, founded on the twin pillars of technology and sustainability, BEEAH Group will showcase its innovations in data driven solutions, artificial intelligence and investments in technology at GITEX.

Visitors to the BEEAH Group stand will see details of the new ‘Office of the Future’ project. As the first fully AI integrated building in the region, and one of the smartest buildings in the world, the company’s new headquarters beat out global competition to win the prestigious IBcon Digie Award for “Most Intelligent Corporate Headquarter” in Nashville earlier this year; and will be a model for high-tech, sustainable offices. Fully powered by renewable energy, the building will feature a digital persona and a sweeping array of smart building solutions powered by Microsoft, and using the Johnson Control Digital Vault offering. Intelligent edge systems, devices and software designed to optimize energy efficiency, will make the best use of available space and help the building’s occupants be more productive and create a better workplace.

BEEAH Group will also demonstrate its position as a sustainability and technology pioneer through its latest solution for the transformation of waste management services. The revolutionary product is a complete end-to-end solution, allowing waste to be tracked from the collection point through to BEEAH Group waste sorting facilities. The resulting data will optimize collection times, reducing vehicle and fuel usage, emissions and man hours. This real-time information will ultimately allow for enhanced waste diversion rates, that will contribute to the UAE’s sustainability goals.

Commenting on the participation of BEEAH Group at GITEX, HE Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO of BEEAH Group, said, “GITEX is a renowned platform for technology industry leaders. At BEEAH Group, we strongly believe that sustainability and technology are the pillars upon which future ready economies shall be built. Technological advancements have the potential to dramatically reduce human consumption and impact on our planet, as well as create immense value for lives and economies. BEEAH Group is dedicated to creating, embracing and introducing cutting-edge technologies that will transform cities into sustainable communities, improving quality of life for all. GITEX allows us the opportunity to delve deeper into the trends around digital transformation and smart cities and we look forward to highlighting our latest accomplishments in these spheres.”

As part of its mission to create sustainable, smart communities, BEEAH Group has invested in advanced technological solutions across its subsidiaries. This includes the founding of EVOTEQ, the region’s premier technology management partner and digital transformation catalyst, which will also have a stand at GITEX, and Emirates Waste to Energy Company, which is building the region’s first hi-tech waste to energy plant in Sharjah, in partnership with Masdar. BEEAH Group also partnered with Crescent Enterprises in 2018, to form ION, the region’s first commercial sustainable transport company. Aimed at driving a fully green fleet management enterprise in the UAE and the MENA region, ION has deployed a fleet of electric cars which are monitored by IoT, to align with BEEAH Group commitment to investing in technologically powered, environment-friendly, future-ready solutions. ION will also be highlighting its advancements in smart mobility and transport at the BEEAH Group stand.

In addition, BEEAH Group also has a pod at the Sharjah e-Government stand, where visitors will be introduced to the technologies the company has developed to augment the emirate’s digital transformation journey, including Sharjah’s first blockchain platform. This platform, which acts as a waste permit portal, was part of a suite of services that BEEAH Group developed for the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority to streamline and optimize their processes.

GITEX will this year focus on four technological segments: smart cities, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart manufacturing. Visitors will be able to learn more at GITEX, one of the most influential technology events of the Middle East, located in Dubai. For 39 years, technology visionaries and technology pioneers have attended GITEX to witness first-hand the technology that has inspired generations and innovations that are set to change the world.

Visitors can find BEEAH Group and ION at stand number A4 in Hall 6 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
