Bee’ah, the Middle East’s leading and award-winning environmental management company, is participating in the Sharjah National Career Exhibition for the 8th consecutive year. The exhibition is being held at Expo Centre Sharjah from February 7th to the 9th.

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the National Career Exhibition is held on a yearly basis, as an integral part of the government’s initiative to successfully integrate UAE nationals into the country’s workforce. The exhibition brings the country’s leading public and private entities together to provide thousands of jobs and training opportunities for Emirati youth.

“We are pleased to participate at the National Career Exhibition for the 8th year in a row. At Bee’ah, we remain committed to supporting young talent in the country and our participation at this mega event is a reflection of our efforts to attract the next-generation of industry leaders,” said Fahad Shehail, Group Chief of Staff at Bee’ah.

“Our support for this event is driven by our belief that our youth will be instrumental in inspiring positive change and leading the journey towards a sustainable future. Our association with the National Career Exhibition allows us to recruit the next generation of Emirati leaders and provide them with opportunities to drive the country towards a positive future,” added Fahad Shehail.

Since 2016, the company has increased its manpower to enter the range of ‘5000 – 10000’ employees. UAE nationals occupy over 42% of administrative and managerial roles, across the various divisions of the company. On average, the company’s annual Emiratisation rate over the past 7 years has been 33 per cent. Of the UAE nationals employed at Bee’ah, almost 40 per cent are female, participating at all levels of the organisation, and signify an exceptional rate for the waste management industry.

Presenting UAE national employees with a unique opportunity to advance their professional skills and management potential, Bee’ah has been implementing an Executive Development Programme for the past 2 years. According to skill set, the programme is organized at the Entry, Professional, Management and Senior Management levels. Over the period of its implementation, the Executive Development Programme has produced Emiratis of the highest professional and moral caliber, enabling them to act as ambassadors for Bee’ah on the global stage.

Bee’ah also entered into a partnership with the Sharjah Tatweer Forum four years ago, and has established itself as a key driver for the Sharjah Leadership Programme. In addition to sponsoring three to four UAE nationals yearly for the programme, Bee’ah employs several graduates from the programme, offering them unique opportunities to showcase their potential.

Earlier this month, Bee’ah appointed Sultan Al Saabri, as the new Chief Human Capital Officer for the Group. With over 25 years of experience at leading organizations across the UAE, Sultan is a proven expert in developing the skills of the national workforce. He will further develop Bee’ah’s UAE National Development programme, instilling leadership concepts and excellence in the next generation of UAE youth, to achieve the company’s vision of realizing broad national development.
